Three months and eleven days have passed since I sprained my wrists. I'm still not up to regular piano practicing. As in the amount of hours I put in each day. Yesterday I finally found out that I didn't win in my most recent piano competition. I didn't expect to win, but a part of me thought I had the slightest chance. I could have worked a bit harder without straining my wrists. But putting in a little extra effort still wouldn't have guaranteed the results I wanted.
Right now, I really regret my decision to try snowboarding. Though I've been wondering lately if God is trying to tell me something. Reminding me to rely on Him, and to trust His plans for my life. That my life may not take the course I've planned. Maybe I won't have a career in music after all.
On a very different note, I have an extremely annoying habit of saying I've attached something in an email and sending it without the attachment. It's already happened four times this week.

hours each day? you practice a lot. or.. used to practice a lot.
i find snowboarding awesome.
it's not a habit. it's forgetfulness. but in the case of my mom, it's knowing not how to do it.
are your wrists still hurting? i would have imagined that it would have gotten better by now..
how's my "joining" passaggio interesting?
the name's not my fault. but also if you consider all the times i've been called jack, you can just as easily say that i'm jack han. or something like that.
more than one and a half hours? consecutive? that's a lot.
no.. snowboarding is overall awesome
yes i am on late. you really should get gtalk
yehh. jack. many koreans who came from korea can't pronounce a "z" because the sound isn't in korean. therefore, they go to the "closest" one, a "j"..
i can't play for one and a half hours consecutively.. maybe overall in the course of the day..
what kind of piano music do you like playing?
pronounced how? sehlehnah? sahleenah? or something like sehleenay?
ah.. my mom never makes me practice any more. i sometimes find her asking me to get off of it. like when i'm playing really late at night.
woot thanks. you really need gtalk
what do you mean by contemporary worship songs? the stuff you hear at church or something?
my favorite composer at the moment has to be Scott Joplin. i like his rags
yeah.. same here. eleventh consecutive comment.
i soo want to stay up till 2 am or something and just start pounding away. or get my guitar, turn on distortion, and start playing songs i really can't play because i'm not good at playing anything but chords.
argh.. i better start commenting..
rags are so fun to play. in my opinion. it's really fun to play fast too.. though it gets a bit annoying playing on a piano that won't let you press down on it's keys easily. or in other words, you'll actually have to press the keys hard to get the sound to be as loud as you want it to be. i noticed especially when i went to jons house and started playing songs that i like to play on my piano and i noticed how easy it was to press the keys.
yeah my family would soo appreciate that. maybe i should get a drum set, invite someone over to play with me. and of course, i would get a real drum set because the electric ones.. just aren't fun.
ok so while you're sleeping, i can start commenting you and getting more than eighteen comments onto your blog.. but i shouldn't. especially cause it's so late.
i borrowed a movie off netflix just to listen to the music in it. the music was scott joplin's ragtimes. it was a good movie though i was bored until half way through when i actually started understanding what was going on.
veggie tales music just so owns.
the veggie tales rock music are fun too. it's very interesting to listen to rebecca st. james sing the veggie tales theme song. and relient k sing the pirates who don't do anything.
i so want to buy some more veggie tales songs.
i want to buy a cheap "laptop" that costs hopefully less than 50$. the "laptop" is so slow though. and they were manufactured like.. 9 years ago. cool stuff too. they are slower than my slowest computers too. by alot. but wireless internet works on it. but the monitor is monochrome or grayscale. i'm not sure.
woot eighteen now i'll sleep
actually, i'm not really joining passaggio.. mississippi just chose like 15 people to sing in this choir thing for this competition.
i believe the song was las amarias. whatever the spelling is
Serfy, i think i can sympathize with you. Kris and my not breaking for debate helped me realize that i shouldn't expect good results because of my own merit...we have to have faith in Christ, because He can see the big picture, though we can't. but i don't think that you should give up your dream for a career in music because of this.
preparated.. should mean prepared.. some people actually use the word but i guess not enough for it to be a word.
dictionary-ied? a word that i looked up in a dictionary? i didn't look in a dictionary, but i googled the word and i found some results. i figured it was good enough, especially because i thought i heard it before.
you may yet have a carreer in music. my sister has a problem with one of her thumbs and she's still going. =)
